Cequa Side Effects:
Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction to Cequa: hives, difficult breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Cequa common side effects include burning, pain, itching, or other discomforts of the eye, pain upon instillation of drops, redness of the white part of your eyes or inside of your eyelids may occur and usually do not need medical attention. These side effects may go away during treatment as your body adjusts to the drug.
Other less common side effects include blurred vision, clear or yellow fluid from the eye, difficulty with reading, eye irritation, itching skin, redness, swelling, or itching of the eyelid, sticky or matted eyelashes, stinging, watery eye, and urinary tract infections.
Cequa Directions:
Put one drop of Cequa twice daily (approximately 12 hours apart) into each eye using a single-use vial. Close your eyes for 1 or 2 minutes after putting into the eye. Make sure to use the solution immediately after opening and discard the remaining content with the vial after use. If you are wearing contact lenses, remove 15 minutes before using CEQUA. Also, use other eye products (e.g., eye ointment, gel, or other thick eye drops) 15 minutes earlier.
Cequa Precautions:
Before using Cequa, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Tell your doctor or pharmacist about your medical history, especially of:
• Cancer;
• High blood pressure;
• High cholesterol/triglycerides levels;
• Kidney disease;
• Liver disease;
• Mineral imbalance (such as low level of magnesium or high level of potassium);

After you apply Cequa, your vision may become temporarily blurred. Do not drive, use machinery, or do any activity that requires clear vision until you are sure you can perform such activities safely.
