Qternmet XR Information:

Buy Qternmet XR

Qternmet XR is a prescription medication that combines three active ingredients: dapagliflozin, saxagliptin, and metformin hydrochloride. It is used alongside diet and exercise to improve blood sugar (glucose) control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Each component works differently to help manage blood sugar levels. Dapagliflozin is a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor that helps the kidneys remove glucose from the bloodstream through urine. Saxagliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor that increases insulin production and decreases glucose production by preventing the breakdown of incretin hormones. Metformin Hydrochloride is a biguanide that decreases glucose production in the liver and improves the body's sensitivity to insulin.

Qternmet XR is for adults with type 2 diabetes who are currently taking metformin and require additional blood sugar control. It is not suitable for individuals with type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
