Buy Lexette
Lexette (Halobetasol Propionate) is a topical corticosteroid used to treat plaque psoriasis and other inflammatory skin conditions responsive to steroids. Its active ingredient, halobetasol, works by suppressing the immune system's overactive response in the skin, thereby decreasing the production of inflammatory substances that cause swelling and itching.

Lexette Side Effects:
Common mild side effects of this medication include burning, stinging, irritation, dryness, or redness at the application site. Acne eruption, unwanted hair growth, small red bumps on the skin, skin thinning and discoloration, or stretch marks may also occur. Contact your doctor if these mild side effects persist or worsen.
Possible serious side effects of this medication may include unusual or extreme tiredness, weight loss, headache, swelling ankles and feet, increased thirst or urination, vision problems, severe body rash, itching, swelling of the face, tongue, throat, and difficulty breathing. If you observe these severe side effects, discontinue this medication and seek immediate medical attention. Additionally, inform your doctor about any other side effects not listed here.
Lexette is effective and well-tolerated in clinical trials for plaque psoriasis and other inflammatory skin conditions. While it is generally well tolerated, it has been shown to suppress the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis at high doses and with prolonged use. However, this is immediately reversed with the discontinuation of the medication. This medication should, therefore, be used only as prescribed by your healthcare provider.
Lexette Directions:
Lexette is available as a foam and is typically applied to the affected areas once or twice daily for short-term use to minimize side effects like skin thinning. You should not use more than 50 g of this medication in 1 week. Do not cover, bandage, or wrap the applied area unless directed by your doctor. Do not apply this medication on your face, groin, or underarms unless directed to your doctor. Talk to your doctor if your symptoms don't improve after 2 weeks of treatment. Store this medication at room temperature and keep it away from children and pets.
Lexette Precautions:
Before applying this topical corticosteroid, it is essential to inform your doctor of any medical condition you previously or currently have, especially:

• Active skin infections from bacteria, viruses, or fungi;
• Adrenal gland problems;
• Diabetes;

Do not apply this medication on areas of infected skin or ulcers. Inform your doctor that you are using this medication before undergoing surgery. Lexette should be used with caution in children as it can cause growth impairment in them, especially with prolonged use. It is not recommended for use in children younger than 12 years. Consult your doctor before using this topical medication during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Certain medications can interact with halobetasol, potentially affecting its effectiveness. Therefore, it is crucial to discuss with your doctor all current medications you are taking, including other topical medicines, to determine potential interactions with Lexette.
