Evorel Side Effects:

Like every other drug, the Evorel Patch has its side effects, although they don't occur in everyone. The most common side effects include redness, rash, irritation at the site where the Patch is placed, breath pain, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, breakthrough bleeding, weight gain, depression, and generalized body pain. Other less common side effects include vaginal thrush, abnormal awareness of heartbeat, breath fullness, hands and feet swelling, muscle pain, hypersensitivity reaction, gallstones, and bloated feeling.

Evorel Patch can also produce some serious side effects which include chest pain, convulsions, heavy or irregular vaginal bleeding, increased blood pressure, migraine headaches, lump in the breast, nipple changes, skin dimpling on the breast, sudden facial swelling, sudden onset of breathlessness, and yellowness of the eyes. Change the Patch twice a week, 3-4 days apart for a steady supply of estrogen, and ensure you apply the new Patch on new skin areas. Ensure you change them on the same days every week. For example, you can change them every Monday and Thursday of every week. Evorel Patch usually stays in place through bathing and showering. If it does fall off your skin, apply a new one but wait for a few minutes for the skin to cool before applying it. If you forget to change the Patch, change it as soon as you remember and adhere to your original schedule date for changing it. Store at 25⁰C and do not store above this temperature. Keep the medication out of reach of small children.
