Arnicare Side Effects:

While the side effects of Arnicare are unlikely, some possible side effects may occur. These include nausea, dizziness, headache, and skin irritation. Arnicare Directions:

This medication is available in tablet, gel, and cream forms. Arnicare tablets are meant to be dissolved in your mouth, rather than swallowed whole. Place the tablets under your tongue and let them dissolve completely. The tablet dose varies depending on the age. For adults and children 6 years of age and above, dissolve 2 tablets under the tongue at the onset of symptoms and repeat every hour for 2 hours. Then, dissolve 2 tablets under the tongue every 6 hours until symptoms are relieved. For children younger than 6 years, dissolve 2 tablets in 1 tablespoon of water at the onset of symptoms for easier intake and repeat every 6 hrs until symptoms resolve. If using the cream or gel form, wash the affected area with soap and water and pat it dry. Apply a thin layer of Arnicare cream to the affected area and gently massage it into the skin. Wash your hands after using the cream. Do not use the gel or cream on broken or infected skin. Do not get this medication into your eyes, nose, and ear. Use the cream or gel form as prescribed by your doctor. Store either form of this medication at 68-77°F (20-25°C) and keep away from sunlight, moisture, and children's reach.

Arnicare Precautions:

Do not use this medication if you have:
• A history of allergic reaction to Arnica montana, other ingredients of Arnicare or plants in the daisy/Asteraceae/Compositae family, such as ragweed;
• Bleeding problems;
• Gastrointestinal (stomach and intestines) disease.
